Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican American broadcaster. She anchors SportsNation as well as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. Her first job for ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual by the time she turned nine. The ability that helped her get her first job as an Univision Production Assistant in Miami. She worked with the producers of national shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was then employed as a reporter by the CBS station to work as the sports reporter. In 2009 she moved from Rio Grande Valley, Texas to work as an investigative reporter for The Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In 2009 she made the move to Rio Grande Valley in Texas in which she was a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. Her duties as an anchor for weather or sports were often demanded. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate where she took on other responsibilities. She wrote for the NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. Aside from this she also co-hosted and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. She was a host of sports for the morning program on Despierta America Deportes. She also served as anchor of the sports segment on Primer Impacto, a magazine program that airs on the UniMas Network and Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collin's parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually were moved from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. There is an older sister. Her family left in 1992 Mexico and moved to Miami. After a short time, her father divorced from her mother. She later remarried in the year 1995 to a naval architect called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died of kidney cancer in the year 2006. It was during a time of summer when she was with her sibling in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl was offered the job. Antonietta is a senior in high school but she was clear about the career she wanted. When she was deciding whether Mount Union was right for her Antonietta went to visit the campus. The campus was beautiful as well as offered the level of education she was looking for. After completing her studies, she was admitted to the university with a degree in media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also WRMU's 91.1FM station for which she worked for many years, became a friend. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her by his love of journalism. Additionally, he profoundly influenced her.
